Ultron will likely be somewhere in the upcoming Annihilation stuff.

Since Annihilation: Conquest focused on Ultron and the Phalanx.

Old or not, I agree that Secret Wars would be awesome, and certainly would be a great collection of data files.

You could also do a "silver age" or "origins" book that had the early adventures of the original x-men, the original avengers, fantastic four, etc.

A silver age treatment would have lots of room for supplements.

(though yes, tough to collect all the art)

The mini-event book sounds like a solid idea, both as filler material and quick pick-ups/replacement sessions.

I'd love to see a Marvel pulp "event" book, delving into the pulp theme Marvel dealt with (Spider-Man, Daredevil, Wolverine, and others were used; it would be interesting to see MWP's take on some characters not officially mentioned).

Secret Invasion is almost screaming for inclusion; so many things from Civil War dovetail nicely into SI.

While I would groove on seeing Secret Wars, for nostalgia sake, if nothing else, it's not on the top of my personal list.

I was always a huge fan of Alex Summers' stint in the Mutant X series and would love to see an event based on that very intriguing alternate universe.

Likewise, I realize the license is no longer Marvel-held, so the chances of this are nil to none, but a Micronauts event book would be really cool!

I LOVED the Noir books and the genre in general.

I think that is a perfect inclusion for Event book status since it not only has a new setting (1930's Earth), but it is also a totally new genre for any Event book planned. I'd love to see tips added for running a noir/pulp campaign and some setting info for the time period.

This is also a very low powered game setting. Even most of the mutants don't really have any powers that I recall. Cyclops was a skilled marksman with a pistol. I remember that much. Man...I need to pull those back out.

Spidey did actually have powers, but still low-key.

Yeah, that could be a fun addition, though I don't think it would need the three sourcebook treatment, just the main Event book unless some other pulp settings/storylines could be added to the mix.

There was another epic totally overlooked. And it keeps getting overlooked. But it was an extremely significant part of Marvel Earth history. And that was the Wraith War.

The Wraith War was the all out fight between all of Earth's superheroes against the Dire Wraiths. And it would be easy enough to write it from a different perspective than the one shown in the book it took place in.

And it had many acts. Stages to it. Benchmark moments where the Dire Wraiths pushed significantly further in the destruction of Earth. Something they very nearly succeeded in doing.

The Wraith War was alluded to during Secret Invasion. It's really one of the true precursers to Secret Invasion.

Geez, I remember buying ROM when it first came out. Always enjoyed that character and the other spaceknights when they were introduced.

If I read correctly, the Spaceknights or a distress call from them or something was what brought the current Annihilators together. Maybe that means that ROM and company will show up in the Annihilation Event?
