If you're talking about the web site, they can't join up because the Preferred Retailer program is only for Brick & Mortar FLGS.

To get the free PDF when buying your book online, you'd need to buy it direct from MWP.

With most brick and morter stores, all you really need to do to get them on the ball and signing up for Preferred Retailer status is:

1. Point them to the MWP website and contact info.

2. Let the store know that you will either be buying the book from them to help support your local gaming community (if you can get the free pdf) OR you will be buying it from MWP direct and getting your free pdf.

With my local store, I found all of the necessary info for them and let them know who to email at MWP via MWP's contact info.

Game Cafe, LLC was set up that day.

Hope it works for you too.

well unfortnaly i paid online to a gaming store far from me. one cause i have no gaming stores in this area. and those that do exist in this state dont believe in MWP. Plus none do pre-orders, well not that have seen.

I didnt know about the free pdf with purchase until a couple of weeks after i paid. could i have read more, sure but i wouldnt be a typical american if i did. lol.

oh well, live and learn i suppose.

Exactly...you know for next time.

I bought quite a few of the Cortex books before I knew about the preferred store program.

But once I did...I made sure my store got all over that!
