Anyone else, remember, we're tying things to the Events. It's supremely unlikely that we will give you 90s eras characters in a book based on a 2000's Event.

Cheers,
Cam

Consider me "super-crazy" for Pixie as a hero datafile, at the very least! What a great character.

She was. Until they had to ruin her with the Dark Pixie Saga.

Pixie and Anole are, in my mind at least, as major as someone like Rockslide. I have a proper soft spot for Anole but would have to admit that if only one of them could be given the PC treatment it should be Pixie as she's had quite a bit of 'screen time'.

But as Cam said, they weren't as major as Rockslide was in the event. Besides, it's not like you can't whip up a couple Milestones for them and tweak them into Player Datafiles fairly easily. Especially if you know the characters well enough to come up with them. Just takes a lil time and creativity.

That's not in dispute at all. However, since Cam seemed to imply there was wiggle room here in terms of the potential of having them as hero datafiles its worth anyone with an opinion weighing in.

In terms of Pixie and Anole's place in the event there's precedent for characters getting an upgrade or downgrade. Breakout is the event (effectively) in the basic game but we got the hero files for the FF, some X-Men, and characters like Daredevil, Ms Marvel, and Iron Fist who weren't really part of that. In Civil War, as a juxtaposition, Storm is presented as a Watcher character despite easily having as major a part in the comic book storyline as her husband and having a pretty big part in the battle where Ragnarok/Clor gets totalled.

Where was Fantomex during Civil War? He was introduced before Civil War started correct? I only ask because I see every other member of Uncanny X-Force in this supplement (Archangel, Psylocke, even a version of Nightcrawler) and Deadpool and Wolverine in Civil War. Fantomex won't be in AoA since he didn't appear till well after that, so it will be awhile if he does not pop up in the X-Men book.

The main Operation's Manual can't really be used to justify things like this. It included the FF and the Astonishing X-Men team because they were the major teams operating/active around the same time as that story. And fans would have complained that those two major keystones of the Marvel Universe were left out.

As for Storm and Civil War, I have to disagree. She really didn't have as much to do in the story arc as T'Challa. Other than agreeing to that "shotgun wedding". Plus her character isn't really any different in the two stories. CW T'Challa has the Ebony Blade and other things that distinguish him from the Breakout version.

Do we have any updates on when this should be coming out as a PDF?
My apologies for occasional spelling... shenanigans. I typically post from mobile devices.

No firm dates yet. I post updates on releases as soon as we have them, on here, on the main site, over Twitter, Facebook, etc. I'm usually pretty good about making sure you know when things are happening. Thanks!

Hummmh... I'm fairly sure I recall seeing Venus Dee Milo and Deadgirl planned for release in one of the forthcoming supplements... yet the Search seems to be a little temperamental. Can anyone say whether I am being daft (and misremembering), please...?
