Avengers the movie

Here's Thor:

Milestone: Son of Asgard or Champion of Earth?

“You humans are petty…and tiny.”
1 XP – When you flaunt your Asgardian heritage and superiority or use the Pulling Punches mechanic.

“What are you willing to do?”
3 XP – When you choose to aid humans against an Asgardian or fight a human that dares to stand in your way.

“You’ve got the lightning…light ‘em up!”
10 XP – When you choose to follow the commands of a human leader to create a complication.

Thor's milestone is the classic dilemma of a man/god of two worlds. Which will he choose?

1 XP has Thor reveling in his godliness. We might also get to see an example of Pulling Punches as the Asgardian tries not to break the frail humans.

3 XP has Thor with some tough decisions...side with Asgardians or humanity. It's one thing to fight my brother...it's another for someone ELSE to fight my brother.

10 XP has Thor, a prince of Asgard & God of Thunder, actively taking commands from a human leader for the good of the cause. This is a pretty explicit milestone mark...creating a complication under a human leader's command. But again, it is meant to demonstrate mechanics that tie directly into the movie...namely, Thor calling the lightning to bottleneck the portal.

Hawkeye:

Milestone: Just Following Orders

“My next target.”
1 XP – When you follow another’s orders under duress.

“How many agents did I kill?”
3 XP – When you take Emotional Stress, suffer a Complication or are the target of a successful Recovery Action and you reflect on those you’ve hurt when you were just following orders.

“I want you on that roof…Call out patterns and strays.”
10 XP – When you move past your guilt and you choose to join a team and follow orders to create an Asset for a teammate.

Hawkeye is a troubled individual in this movie. This milestone is meant to help the player play the whole role that is Hawkeye in this film.

1 XP will get a lot of play early on. In the first scene, Hawkeye will be hit with a "Loki's Minion" Mind Control complication that Loki will be making Persistent. It's going to happen...the Doom Pool will be spent until it takes hold as necessary to further the demo's premise. (Don't worry...while I've taken this out of the player's control, I've added a personal unlockable - 10 XP to remove the "Loki's Minion" complication. The milestone and the unlockable build off each other.) So the Hawkeye player will be able to cash in each and every time he obeys one of Loki's commands while suffering from this very personal complication.

3 XP when Hawkeye gets to agonize over his actions while suffering from Loki's complication and doubts his worth as a teammate.

10 XP when Hawkeye gets over it and chooses to join a team again. Also, more reinforcement on Asset building.

And last but not least...Captain America:

Milestone: Man out of Time

“Isn’t that a little…old fashioned?”
1 XP – When you address another character with the titles “Son, Ma’am, Pal, Dame, Mister or Sir,” when you display ignorance to a person, place, idea or pop culture reference that originates after the 1940’s or when you proudly show recognition of one of these things that originates before 1945.

“The only one out of time is you.”
3 XP – When you activate a Watcher Opportunity.

“All right, listen up!”
10 XP – When you accept the role of leader of a team of heroes and provide tactical guidance in the form of an Asset or inspire a teammate (Recovery Action) and step back or eliminate the teammate’s Mental or Emotional Stress.

Captain America gives us a man out of time, trying to find his place in the world and prove himself useful...finally, stepping up to take the lead.

1 XP...heh...that's just me having fun. Part of the fun of movie Cap was the language he used regularly and his lack of understanding of a wide range of references to people, places and other ideas that came about after the 1940's. This lets a player get rewarded for finding the character's flavor.

3 XP gives us a chance to encourage/remind players about Watcher Opportunities. Who better to do that with than a master of tactics that knows when and how to take advantage of an opponent's slip ups?

10 XP has Cap finally coming to terms with his importance on a 21st Century battlefield. These may not be the soldiers that he aspired to be and ended up inspiring during WWII...but they are courageous individuals trying to right the world's wrongs in their own way...and they need a leader to take them into the future.

Well...those may or may not be what you were looking for, but hopefully, if nothing else, these will give you a place to start.
