Civil War Release date 2013?

Amazon is listing the Civil War books as coming out January 2013. Is that true?

I'm sure Cam or someone else in the know will set me straight if I misunderstood his other posts on the subject, but since MWP doesn't have a release date set, there is no way that Amazon can have a legitimate street date either.

Amazon just puts something up on their selection page as a place holder (?) I guess, until they know something definitive.

Not a perfect estimate, but look at the lag between the basic game book PDF and the print release. It should be roughly the same for CW.

PDF was released March 28, according to DriveThru RPG.
Print was released April 17, according to Amazon (they go back after the release and put in the real dates).

So that's about what, 3 weeks give or take.

Civil War PDF was released on June 22, about 4 weeks ago.

So theoretically, it should be out any day now in print.

It's been almost a month, actually.

If you have pre-ordered the book from a FLGS that participates in the MWP program, you are elligible for a free pdf.

Civil War should be out by GenCon. We plan on having it there in print!

Supplements should start coming out in August, too. We've had to adjust our schedule and rejigger things a little based on a number of factors, including printing costs. We definitely won't keep you waiting for months and months, though. Amazon and other online vendors will likely catch up with us once we resolicitations are put out.

Will preorders and PDF copies go up in advance of hard copies for the supplements as well?

Everyone who preordered thru us gets their books shipped out as soon as we get them from the printers.

And yes, preorders and PDFs should go live before print for all books forthcoming.
