Enough trash talk from the Scarlet Speedster, Hydro Man isn’t going down without a fight. It begins. Going to throw in a couple scene distinctions; ON A BOAT and SLIPPERY FLOOR. Time for a water blast (d6 solo, d8 thug, d8 water blast; 12/d6) and the Flash peels rubber after a split second of hesitation (not a whole lot of room here. d10 solo, d4 on a boat, d12 speed; 11/d12. Flash takes d4 physical stress, gets a PP). The water blast slings him across the deck of the boat, but Flash turns away and avoids the brunt of it. Flash zips around at high speeds, looking to land a shot on his enemy (Vortex SFX: d10 solo, d8 fastest man alive, d12 super speed, d6 SFX; 19/d10) and Hydro Man looks to be in trouble (d6 solo, d8 dumb as a post, d8 intangible; d6 from the doom pool to include a third die, 10/d4. Hydro Man takes d12 complication called "torn apart"). Flash is literally causing Hydro Man to fly apart as he approaches high speeds. Hydro Man focuses his strength and goes to swat Flash away (d6 solo, d8 vengeful, d8 strength, d4 physical stress; 9/d6). Flash slides under the attack and probably rips part of the deck open (d10 solo, d8 showoff, d12 reflexes; 16/d10). Time to send this clown packing! Flash balls his fist up and lets her fly (d10 solo, d8 fastest man alive, d12 speed, d12 torn apart; 16/d12) and Hydro Man tries to turn to water and let Flash’s fist pass harmlessly through him (d6 solo, d8 thug, d8 intangible; 13/d6. Hydro is out!). Flash goes “you’re all wet!” and splits Hydro Man’s head open in a giant splash of water. He collapses to the deck of the boat in defeat as Flash notifies the authorities.
Doom Pool: none
Flash: 1pp, 1XP, d4 physical stress
Hydro Man: stressed out (complication)
notes...
liked it. I really did feel like the Flash during this. His SFX may need to be looked at more. You can't just test once and call it a day, but this was fun. Flash is kind of a beast.
