Datafile Inspiration - City of Heroes/Villains

I began working on the powersets from CoH a while back and didnt finish it. I am going to get back into it soon so I have an easy way (i.e. canned) to assign power sets to my homebrew villains, heroes and vigilantes.

City of Heroes allowed me to give a form to how my characters looked exactly. Its a great tool just to see the character don't even have to play the game.

I like yours a lot. Keep up the good work.

It is a great game...and I don't get to play it nearly enough these days.

Seeing that peacebringer, which is very cool by the way, pointed me to a great datafile idea for characters with multiple forms and more than two power sets.

You could give each form its own power set with the Mutually Exclusive Limit that shuts down ALL other power sets.

This could be another way to make a shapeshifter or mimic character that has a limited number of specific forms with differing abilities.

I recall a TSR Marvel power that let you evolve/devolve into a being up/down your evolutionary line somewhere. So you could switch into a more physical but intellectually limited protohuman or a more highly intelligent but weaker form (probably a big-headed, nearly-useless-limbed creature).

You could do that with a power set that represented a specific form, but only worked when all the other power sets were shut down.

Hmmm...inspiration blooms...

Evolvo Lad of the Heroes of Lallor, a supporting character in the Legion of Super-Heroes, has that very power.
