I started re-reading some of the old comics I never got around to/could get from friends in preparation for a game of Marvel. Right now, I'm working on Generation X, and hit a snag with the character Mondo.
For those not in the know, one of Mondo's abilities allow him to take the qualities of the organic and inorganic material he comes into contact with/absorbs. Since I haven't seen a "variable" power (like in the Mutants and Masterminds game), how would you do this? Would it be best to use "Mimic" as inspiration and change powers as-needed based on the material, with a Limit of "Must be touching a material"?
He also can meld into and move through organic material like dirt (usually not very far, though). Would this be a d6 movement/teleport, an SFX to avoid damage/detection, or some other power?
His other powers (growth/shrinking) are easy enough to work with.
Any thoughts?
P.S. After I get my group settled and an assignment mapped out, I might have to just start statting them all for fun. . .
