Human Fly Wiki:

Here's an example on how you can use existing datafiles to create a similar character with just a little flavor alteration.

Meet the Human Fly...sometimes just called the Fly.

He's pretty much just Spider-Man with wings...at least in the beginning. So that's where I started. I just took Spider-Man's datafile and flavored up some of the powers from spider to fly. Then I added wings.

Reading through the wiki I saw that the human fly later mutated further and became a bit more of a threat. That's where the 2nd power set comes in. And yes...I duplicated Enhanced Senses to represent the adding of antennae. It's not the only way to handle this, but it was the way that I chose.

Oh...I gave him Team D8 to represent his time in the Savage Six.

Anyway...as you can see, this is pretty much Spider-Man's datafile.

You could easily take this approach to create just about any other character.

You want a Batman/Nightwing/Robin kind of character...look at Black Widow or Black Panther for a beginning.

You want DC's Guardian or Marvel's Red Guardian...start with Captain America.

There are plenty of official datafiles to give you inspiration for other, similar characters...and every new book just gives us more.
