Berserk With Area Attack

Berserk With Area Attack

Postby Legate » Sat Aug 25, 2012 11:33 am

If hitting multiple targets with Area Attack and applying the Berserk SFX, can Berserk be applied to each target, stepping up the Doom die for each use, or does Berserk only apply to actions taken over consecutive turns?

Then, if it IS possible to apply Berserk to Area Attack, do you keep the same Doom die and keep stepping it up or can you borrow a new die for each target stepping up each one once?
This question also pertains to Berserk-modified actions over consecutive turns.

As I understand it an area attack is a single attack action. So if you apply beserk to it you add 1 die from the doom pool, step it up once and return it, no matter how many targets are included in the area attack.

Berserk gives you an extra die from the doom pool; Area attack gives you extra d6s for extra targets. Those don't overlap.

Roll, assign effect dice if you succeeded.

Step up and return the Berserk die to the doom pool.
