Better than I expected, thanks for the help.

If the scene has ended, i.e. there are no PC's in the scene, then you don't have to worry about it. Off screen anything happens that you, as Watcher, dictate.

If the heroes have left the villains incapacitated, but not in custody, then they get away.

No need to roll or worry about mechanics at this point...at least in my opinion.

Which leads to Spider Tracer on Electro... He flees. Next Transition Scene I want to tracking him down... Ooops I can't. Why? Because the Watcher has ruled that he found it and there's no more tracer complication.

Personally, I wouldn't dictate something like that.

I know the rules say he applies the highest applicable trait die. However, that would render page 55's doom die expenditure rule pointless (unless you are only considering contested rolls).

I might have explained the example poorly, I do that sometimes.
Sample Scenario: Iceman freezes Spidey for whatever reason, d8 "Iceblock" complication.

Iceman then flies around the corner to help Wolverine with a Sentinel. Spidey is alone, still in the scenario, and wants to break out.

But the answers above covered that, but thanks anyway.
