You have a chess board in brain when you set up all the pieces to the current problem.
Role: Tactician
Trigger: You are making a Reveal to deploy your team in the best places.
Effect: Add a d8 to your roll.
Stop Using Your Mouth And Start Using Your Brain
You’re have a habit of … we’ll call it ’forcing’ others to do things that need to be done. They might not like your approach, and might resent you for it, but the job gets done anyway.
Role: Tactician
Activation: You’re in voice contact with at least one Crewmember. You must spend a Plot Point to activate this Talent.
Effect: A Crewmember that you’re in contact with who’s taking an action may add your WILLPOWER die to their roll and keep a 3rd die.
What Would McKay Do?
You have people that are on your team do all the sciency stuff for you. Sometime you really wish you paid more attention to them.
Role: Open
Activation: ACADEMIC is a die in your roll, the roll represents your attempt to figure out some scientific problem, and ACADEMIC is not your PRIMARY ROLE.
Effect: You may add your PRIMARY ROLE to your roll.
Witty Banter
You sometimes say things that inspire others to solve a problem they are working on … even if you have no idea what it is.
Role: Tactician
Activation: You are interacting with another character that is working on a non-combat problem. You must spend a Plot Point to activate this talent.
Effect: The team member you are talking can add an extra d8 on their roll. If the two of you banter back and forth, it is a d10. In either case, they get to keep a 3rd die.
