Marvel Heroic Roleplayng - Release Resource

Don't forget that we will be getting a "measure" of Thor in Civil War thanks to Clor...or the Thor Clone.

If you want an example of a god-like powerhouse, you can check out Sentry in the Basic Game.

We could probably see Hercules in Civil War...maybe.

But wait until Annihilation hits! That book will be FILLED with cosmic heavy weights I imagine.

Well...as a guy that was lovin' the New Avengers Pre-Civil War...I can say that Civil War Iron Man and Captain America were poor subs for IM and CA too.

I REALLY hated IM during/after Civil War (and Mr. Fantastic for that matter). It took Robert Downey, Jr. to start bringing me back around.

Update from Cam:

Hey folks!

I thought you'd like to know which heroes get 2-page entries as hero datafiles in the core CW Event Book. The list is as follows:

Arachne, Black Panther (T’Challa), Cable, Captain America, Clint Barton, Cloak, Dagger, Daredevil (Danny Rand), Deadpool, Doctor Strange, Falcon, Goliath, Hercules, Human Torch, Invisible Woman, Iron Man, Luke Cage, Moon Knight, Mr. Fantastic, Ms. Marvel, Nighthawk, Punisher, She-Hulk, Spider-Man, Spider-Woman, Sub-Mariner, The Thing, Tigra, Wasp, Wolverine, Wonder Man, Yellowjacket.

Our list of hero datafiles for the 50 State Initiative Event Supplement is as follows, though subject to approval:

Armory, Black Cat, Bullseye, Cloud 9, Colleen Wing, Hardball, Hellcat, Howard the Duck, Justice, Komodo, Misty Knight, Moonstone, MVP, Paladin, Penance, Radioactive Man, Shang-Chi, Songbird, Swordsman, The Gauntlet, Trauma, Venom, War Machine, Elsa Bloodstone, Meltdown, Monica Rambeau, The Captain, Aaron Stack (Machine Man)

Cheers,
Cam

I'm more appreciate of the line up for the initive book, far less reprints of previous datafiles.

glad to know that i don't have to wait for the newesr avenger to arrive (hint: it's songbird) and that fans of nextwave gets the complete line up in one book.

but the biggest question...what villians are you going to include in both books.

for that matter..are there going to be just heroes listed as watcher characters for civil war? :o

That would be cool!

It is SOOO easy to make hero datafiles out of major villain datafiles.

Just need to spend a little thought on milestones and you're good to go!

while i have no doubt that it will be easy, i'm sure there are lots of players that want actual "bad guys" as well. the 'hero vs hero' concept (as evidenced by the fact that i refuse to buy into marvel's AvX event) has me a lil tired.

Oh I bet there will be some "true" villains.

I was just thinking that while we've only heard about "X" number of Hero Datafiles in Civil War, there might actually be a whole lot more as Watcher Datafiles.
