GenCon events?

I am curious if there will be any Marvel Heroic Roleplaying events run by MWP? Especially anything for new players?

We've got 4 separate Marvel Heroic Roleplaying events planned for GenCon! They'll run twice a day, in various combinations, with 4 tables going in the AM and 4 in the PM (so, 8 slots per day), Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Each slot's around 3 hours long, and all hero datafiles will be provided. We should have something for everyone: New Mutants, Young Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and even one where the players choose anti-heroes and bad guys recruited for a super-powered heist.

Unfortunately, for me, every single Marvel Heroic event was filled up by the time I was processed.

Half of our Marvel events are being staged in the Games on Demand area. These ticketed events are sold out, but we should have folks at Games on Demand able to run pickup games of MHR if a group stops by. Games on Demand is a great way to try out games you otherwise wouldn't get a chance to try; GMs make a short list on a write board in the room that says what games they're prepared for, and players grab the GM, name the game, sit down and get playing! We don't want to overwhelm the GoD team like we did at PAX East (which had 9 tables of Marvel going at one time) but if you're keen you should stop on by and see who's got it on offer.

Wow, I got lucky to get 2 out of the 4-5 MHR events at Gen Con, hoping I catch you Cam as my Watcher! If not, I would love to shake your hand and try to get you to sign my pre-order Civil War MHR book.

Thanks, Cam. I did buy some generic tickets just in case there is a no show at the first one I wanted to register for. I will look for the on demand area.
