Oh I know about MapTool. I just played a MHR session last night on it based on the "new" Secret Wars. Had a fun time with my original Spider-Girl character bapping Hobgoblin.
Thing is, MapTool is entirely generic, not exactly user friendly, and has too many curtains to pull back to see everything. It's terribly inelegant and while the campaign frameworks help they don't save the interface.
What I'm suggesting is a virtual tabletop built specifically for Marvel Heroic, which makes the dice visual (a must in my opinion since there are dyscalculic RPGers who have terrible difficulty playing otherwise, like me), neatly organizes play, and maybe even has a feature to plug in Events.
