What's your MHR table look like?

I fully believe this is a system that can be played on comfortable furniture. There's no need for minis, mats, maps, or most other props. Just a place to throw down six dice real quick.

I approve of this setup.

I have almost always sat in the floor to game. One notable exception was the apartment of a couple of friends. They were in college at the time, and the floor was much more scary than the couch. Incidentally, we were playing World of Darkness.

I agree that this game can be played with minimal "stuff" , BUT , the immersion and aspect of the game comes greatly increased with all the "extras" you can put in:
I use my huge Heroclix collection to define the initiatives ( and i have minis for almost every character you can imagine) . I use scenes from the books ( currently playing/Watcher Civil War) to "frame" where they are and all the action , with the use of a tranparent plexiglass that enables me and the players to right over it , if needed.
I use the "doom pool raised box" to show at all times the current doom pool.
I use a "Watcher Screen" to hide the plot and enemies from players ( and only that information , because i thrown at them "homemade Transition and Action Scenes" , and them seeing before hand ,what was coming would spoil the surprise :-)).

I agree that props can really boost the atmosphere of the game, but I also really love the fact that this game really requires so little swag on the table. I remember fondly back to my V:TM days when we played on couches and chairs by candlelight. So dorky!

I completely forgot to take a picture of our table from last night, but I'll try to remember next Thursday.

Hi all,

We definitly use miniatures (Heroclix) and have abstract location markers if everyone is not in the same general place.

Same here. I actually have found most props to detract from the game recently, as people over focus on exact placement or what figs look like, etc. Being able to sit around however is comfortable seems to be the way to go.
What is...is...
