I Really Like This Game

Postby Dunlaing » Mon Jul 30, 2012 9:36 pm

The first time I played it, which was fairly early in the playtesting I thought this was an interesting game, and I liked the core of it, but thought it needed a lot of work.
The next time I played it, I was hooked.
I'm now running a biweekly campaign, playing in a monthly campaign, and playing in a play by post game.

This game really works for me on a whole lot of levels. And I'm really looking forward to Annihilation.

Thank you, Cam and the Advanced Idea Mechanics. I really appreciate everything you guys are doing.

i just be happy when i can get my copy of civil war and all the books that go with it.

me and my players are hooked we finished act 1 of break out last week. and everyone cant wait to see what the 2nd act well bring.

one of the other players has offered to run a game, but using it for running a magic the gathering rpg using the bases of the graphic novels for inspiration, and of course some of the cards.
another is thinking about adapting dragon age 2 to it, anyone think thats a good idea.

one of the things we all like is how everyone participates in telling the story. and ease of character creation.
to see the next star.

Definitely a fan.

Great product and infinitely/easily customizable for just about every aspect you want to add/subtract from it.

Along with the Better Angels RPG getting its Kickstarter funding met...MHR being released is the gaming highlight of my year!

I actually was not expecting to get this into MHRP. I was enjoying playing Nobilis prior to this and was actually looking at taking a bit of a break (or at least a slow-down) from gaming. But it snuck up on me. It's just a really good game that fits what I like very, very well.

Plus, Dave "the Game" Chalker is very nice.

He is very nice in his own right, and much nicer than Dave "The Chalk" Gamer, with whom he is sometimes confused.

Yeah...MHRP came out at a time that I was also looking to STOP spending as much money on this hobby (and the minis games and the card games) since I buy way more than I ever get the chance to play.

But it is a supers RPG...a Marvel licensed RPG...and a MWP RPG...the unholy trio of things that I can not turn down.

Curse you MWP!!!
