have to remind myself to just have fun.
Ha! Right there with ya, buddy!
That's why my Star Trek game bombed...I just couldn't suspend "military reasoning" long enough to let the PC's (bridge crew) keep going to the surface to handle dangerous problems...at least not ALL of them ALL the time.
"Okay...we've got the Captain, 1st officer, 2nd officer...hmmm...pretty much the entire senior staff down here on the planet. Please tell me we didn't leave Skippy, Janitor 3rd Class in charge of the ship...again??? I'm still trying to get the dings out of the hull and reactor coolant out of the carpet!"
I just couldn't enjoy it, which meant the game wasn't going to be fun for any of us. So it got shelved.
But superpowers I can treat like magic. How does it work? It just does.
How does Superman fly? He has no means of propulsion that I've ever read about. Answer: He's Superman...it just works.
