With a month until the Civil War release, any chance of getting a list of villains that will be making an appearance ? I'm all about the villain DATAFILES !

it has been mentioned that there will be a lot, but the whole point of civil war was hero v hero, so i can't see there being many villains.
Which is a shame, because we already have lots of heroes but very few A-list villains.

I guess your best option for now is to look through some civil war comics.

Should get Thunderbolts at least.

I here ya. I have most of the heroes i want, I'm more interested in villains, and I've never been big on stating out my own, especially when I'm still learning the system. I'm hoping for at least Bullseye, Taskmaster, and Radioactive Man out of it. They are all making an appearance in my game in the next few months.

With Bullseye and Radioactive Man in the Thunderbolts, I could see them showing up in Civil War.

And there were still quite a few villains in Civil War.

After all, EVERY superpowered/extraordinary individual (hero and villain) needed to register. Some of the villains even got pardons in exchange for registering and signing on for government work.

Cam posted a list a long time back on RPG.Net of everyone who'd have datafiles in the Civil War Book. But I can't find his post anymore. I remember Goliath, Tigra, Clor, etc.

Re: The Thunderbolts... They're specificially mentioned in the solicit for one of the Civil War theme books. Not in the main book. Found it!

So I thought I would give you a little peek inside the design process and float you the list of 30 hero datafiles I'm considering for the Civil War Event Book. Note that these are the two-pagers, like Cap, with Milestones provided, and not being on this list doesn't mean your favorite hero won't be in the book or, for that matter, that they won't get a two-pager in an Event Supplement. This list includes 10 datafiles that are updates of Breakout versions, and twenty more that weren't in the Basic Game at all. Remember, this is a draft list and bound to change, but I figured it'd be nice to see.

I have a hard time looking at lists like that, because invariably there are 100 others that I want to see...but then I remember, I can always make my own.

I'm not looking forward to the 9 duplicates of what we've already got. I'd rather see more new writeups and small adjustments made for existing data files -- but then I guess that wouldn't work with their assumption that you might just buy the Civil War event book.
