Physical Books

Wanted to say that first off I am big fan of the Cortex Plus Marvel system. It is my favorite by quite a bit. :D

I also have my physical copies of the game now. I have had the pdf for awhile. I am very impressed with the book. It is full color and the nice glossy pages. It is about the size of a comic book. It is a very nice game with great production value. Very well done. I look forward to getting other books in the line.

Barnes and Noble is taking six different flavours of forever to ship my book. It causes me pain. And envy.

Got my physical copy this passed Thursday. Very nice indeed. Had the pdf so was already familiarizing myself with the game, but it is much better with the book now.

I went to my FLGS today, looking for the GM guide for another Superhero RPG. Failing to find it, this one was on the shelf and the price point made it impossible to pass up. I'm new to the Cortex system, so I am looking forward to seeing how this one works.

My local store is a Preferred Retailer. So as soon as the pdf is available, I'll be at my store to preorder Civil War and get the pdf for free while I wait for the physical copy to show up.

That is a sweet deal!

I wish I had that chance, and since MWP doesn't ship internationally I have to wait for Amazon's delays... sometimes not living in the US sucks.

This will DEFINITELY require someone with MWP to really answer this topic, but I wonder if an international retailer could still be an MWP Preferred Retailer?

After all, I know that my local game store, that is a Preferred Retailer, doesn't buy their product from MWP. They get it from a game book distributer...probably ACD, but I'd imagine that Alliance/Diamond and many other distributers sell it.

Again, this is definitely a question for someone in the MWP food chain. I'm just spitballing here.

Still, it might be worth asking them.
