Datafile Request: Captain Britain

As a person in my group at our local game club actually is British, I thought it would be fun to present him with a chance to use Captain Britain as his character if he gets to play Marvel for the first time this week. Sadly, my datafile-fu has escaped me...so, anyone want to take a shot at this character?

Yes - the most recent version had bizarre confidence base powers, whereas previously he didn't.

I'm not really a fan myself.

He is definitely another guy that has a long and convoluted backstory.

He's the brother of Psylocke...who had also worn the Captain Britain suit for about 5 minutes before getting captured and being blinded.

No...no I will NOT be led down the never ending rabbit hole of CB and Psylocke's backstories!

You'll just have to read it for yourself, EF.

The Excalibur (and immediately pre-Excalibur)-era Capt. Britain was your standard super-strong & tough + flight hero. Personality-wise, he is proud and stubborn. He comes from the upper class and used to be a scientist. For a while he needed his suit, a blend of technology and magic, to use his powers, then the suit was needed as a "focus" and battery for his powers, then he didn't need the suit at all. I'm not familiar with the current incarnation.

I would put his powers roughly as so:
Strength D12
Durability D12
Stamina D10
Flight D10
Reflexes D8
Mystic Senses D6 (he can see magic auras, can see through magic illusions, etc.)

Combat Expert, Mystic Expert, Science Expert

Probably add Mystic Expert to Spatula's framework.

He does deal with Merlin and a bunch of other mystical types if I recall correctly.

I believe at times his powers were directly tied to the land of Great Britain...i.e. if he was away from it for any period of time (not sure how long) then he'd become weaker. Someone will need to back that up. I just think I remember it that way. If I'm right, that would be a great Limit for his power set.

I remember the Britain thing at one point, but didnt know the suit bit.

So at seperate times his power has been limited by:
a) his suit
b) being in britain
c) his confidence.

He should be called Captain Limitation of the week.

Still, at least we could all stat 2 versions each and they would all be valid. Does anyone else change this much??
