Wow! You get a large soda for $10? Around here $10 gets us a bucket of ice and a thimble full of soda.... :(

Well...really it was $10 and my soul...but honestly...how much can a soul be worth in today's market?

Dude...you live in Brazil.

Isn't that like the "Thong Capital" of the world or something?

I'd say you all are ahead in a couple of things...

Clearly none of you are putting your spouse's/girlfriend's/significant other's "purse" to good use then.

Here's my man purse:

And yes, we make our own popcorn and soda at home to bring to the theatre.

$10 Soda is about right in Chicago! I love how there is Large and Larger sizes only...

My wife always gets a large bottle of water for $5 which makes Baby Jesus cry...

RJ Brazil is up on so many things that it would be tough to find a downside.

Im curious to see if Iron Man takes center stage (as i imagine he will) since Robert Downey Jr is the Big Star of the cast.

Question for EF...did the Hulk scenes look goofy, or were they well done?

The entire core cast (the six Avengers, Loki and Nick Fury) all got a decent share of screen time, actually - it didn't seem like any one character took centre stage by themselves.

I'm not EF, but having seen the movie yesterday... I really liked their depiction of the Hulk - the character model bore a good resemblance to the actor, and I didn't see any particular problems with the animation of 'the other guy' (as Bruce Banner refers to his alter ego in the movie).

In my personal opinion, Avengers has set the bar high for superhero movies this year, and both Amazing Spider-Man and The Dark Knight Rises will need to be very good indeed in order to not suffer by comparison. It wasn't perfect, but it was extremely good where it mattered.
