How about Clan, City, and Covenant/Sect instead?

It's an interesting idea, but I'm afraid that it'd be a pain in play. There's just so much overlap there.

Like if I'm a Cam Ventrue fighting a Sabbat incursion into my city, which one is it? The Ventrue have a vested interest in keeping control over as much as possible, so that works. The folks in the city want the Sabbat gone, so that works. Sect is just obvious, because I'm Cam fighting Sabbat.

Then, I'm out in the countryside, and I get into a fight with some werewolves. Nothing political here; they just want to kill me for being a vampire. Which one do I roll? None of them really work without bending over backwards. ("Well, my city will be less strong for having a loyal vampire like myself around if I die, so I need to live...")

Here's Act 3: Feros of my ongoing Mass Effect hack. It's a bit of a doozy. Feros is my favorite planet in the first game, so that familiarity really helped me pull out interesting bits for the act.

The link led to Zhu's hope, actually.

But yeah, Feros was my favorite planet too. Joker actually said one of my favorite lines of the game:

"I don't what's worse about Feros, the weather or the people. One freezes your balls... the other buys them out from under you."

Hilarious. XD

btw, good work man.

You're confusing Feros with Noveria.

Feros is the planet with the colony Zhu's Hope and is where Shepard encounters creepers for the first time. He receives the cipher from an asari after killing the thorian.

Noveria is a small, frozen world that is haven to shady business dealings and science research of questionable repute. There Shepard encounters matriarch Benezia and the last queen of the rachni.

Thank you! I'm certainly trying to do well with it. This is all just round 1, as well. The Event is very openly a learning experience. It's getting posted as a rough draft. A round 2 could well be in the works. We'll see how it goes.

What do you mean by that? I thought that the RAW already implied that if you use a scene distinction in lieu of a hero distinction the rules are still the same. So I don't see why I couldn't describe my Stunt get the die in the pool and include the scene distinction die in the same pool.

During the pbp by Grimmshade I tried to create a complication using my distinction (negatively, d4) and the scene distinction by spending that PP to use both at the same time. It didn't need a stunt, but I could spend another PP and also have a stunt and in the end get: Hero Distinction + Scene Distinction + Stunt. No biggie.
