Not that's a bad thing. I'm just wondering what how others play it out.
It's called area attack because it can affect multiple targets without having to spend PPs. However, it does not allow you to make an asset as well as deal stress against a solo. It says specifically to, "Add a d6 and keep an additional effect die for each additional target
," OM90. if you only have one target, there are no other targets, therefore no additional effect dice are kept.
You can still spend a PP to do so and narrate it as if the are attack caused the asset!
