Heh. My favorite quote from a review of this movie....

"It's like... Imagine if Michael Bay had money and the need to destroy things, but he wasn't a horny Neanderthal! This is the movie he would make!"

Honestly, I can only think of one thing that I felt was missing from this movie and would have made the whole thing perfect and not just phenomenal...

Thor needed a big, "I am the god of thunder!" challenge to the opposition in the final big-bad.

Just a few lines of norse boasting in the face of insurmountable odds to place his stamp on the battle.

I wish the Silver Surfer could be in the next film. I mean, if the villain is who we all think it is for the next movie, the Surfer really should be there.
Where the Silver Surfer soars...
There he must soar...

Unfortunately, I think 20th Century Fox has the rights to Silver Surfer. So he won't be in there. BOOOO!

And a few bits where he flings Mjolnir right through some of the giant snake ships, to go along with... or whips up a nifty vortex along the lines of the one used to contain the Destroyer at the end of his own movie. Not enough to take too much spotlight off the others.

This is an excellent discussion to have in the spoiler thread, guys. :)

Please avoid talking about anything specific in the movies in this thread. There is a spoiler-full thread over here for such discourse.

Thank you.
