My Fellow Americans: Where Do People Order Dice?

My Fellow Americans: Where Do People Order Dice?

Postby Supplanter » Sat Jun 16, 2012 4:27 pm

Was going to order "Magneto Pool Dice" for my X-campaign from gamestation.net but the D6s in my chosen color scheme may be backordered. Anyone have a favorite alternate source for USA delivery?

Thanks,

Jim

You can get some awesome dice from HCRealms.com. They have dice with various logos such as Captain America, Deadpool, the Punisher. I ordered some through my friend and I have War Machine dice and Thunder Cat dice. Check it out.

When I'm looking for dice in general, I tend to either hit a brick and mortar store (a FLGS primarily), rpgshop.com, or when I don't get what I get: a pound of dice from wherever I can find and afford them (usually amazon or ebay). I know that it is also possible to find dice on places like etsy.com.

Sadly, most of the random shops I used to frequent online aren't really around (or moved, or I don't remember where to find them), so I can't help beyond that. Sorry.

I tend to go with Chessex (and their Pound-O-Dice is perfect for a game that needs a lot of dice like MHRPG).

I totally agree - Chessex Pound-O-Dice is the way to go (I bought a set through Amazon not too long ago)

I think it is the most cost effective option. You'll end up getting an assortment of around 100 or so IIRC. Sure, you'll end up with a lot of d20s that you don't need (for this game), but it's still the best option that I'm aware of for a game that needs lots and lots of dice.

Yeah, as a watcher getting the pound of dice was the best way for me to be able to keep myself and at least a couple players set for dice...

We pooled (no pun intended) together and bought a Chessex Pound-o-Dice from Amazon a long time ago during our regular D&D campaigns. Thankfully we still had it, because it works great for MHRPG.

...though, we do seem to be needing more D8's when we play.

I went with these. I was worried that the pound of dice wouldn't have enough d8s.
